1. Pair with a 12V transformer. This is a 12V low-voltage strip — you'll need a 12V DC transformer/power supply. Use proper standard-rated wiring. 2. Plan your length. The strip comes on a 50m roll. Tell us your project details and we can help calculate the right quantity and layout. 3. Cut to size. Cut only at the marked cut points — every 3 LEDs (3-LED-segment model) or every 1 LED (1-LED-segment model). Never cut between the marks. 4. Bend and stick. When bending, bend into an “S” curve only. Clean and dry the surface, peel the self-adhesive backing, and press the strip firmly into place. 5. Wire it up (important for long runs). Run a +/- main feed line from the transformer and connect the strip sections in parallel. Any run over 2 meters needs power injection — feed both ends / add extra feeds — to keep brightness even and avoid dimming. Mind the polarity (+ / -). 6. Size your power supply. At 10W/m, budget your transformer wattage to total length plus ~20% headroom (e.g. a 10m run ≈ 100W → use a 12V 120W+ supply). Tip: keep connections dry and properly sealed for outdoor use, and don't over-bend or fold the strip sharply back on itself.
