Dependable low-voltage backlighting that handles the weather. These DC12V LED modules are fully sealed injection-moulded units rated IP65, built to sit inside outdoor signage and keep working through rain and damp. Each module carries a precision optical lens over the LED, concentrating and spreading the light so your letters and lightboxes fill evenly instead of showing bright dots against the face.
Running on safe 12V low voltage, they're straightforward to install and safe to handle — a genuine advantage when you're working on signage at height or in a location the public can reach. The moulded housing protects the board and the LEDs, the self-adhesive backing lets you peel and stick each module straight onto the surface, and the linking wires between modules give you room to space them out as your sign requires.
Every model is CE and RoHS marked and supplied in chains of 20, so you can lay out a run quickly and cut the chain where you need it.
Choose the model that suits your job: 5030 for the highest single-point output where you need punch, 8618 for a cool, crisp 3-LED spread, or 6214 Sunlight for the widest 170° coverage and the only warm white option in the range.

How to Use
1. Pair with a 12V transformer. These are DC12V modules — connect them to a 12V DC transformer/power supply using properly rated wiring.
2. Size the power supply. Multiply the module wattage by your module count, then add ~20% headroom. A chain of 20 draws roughly 40W on the 5030, 36W on the 8618, and 30W on the 6214.
3. Cut the chain to length. Separate the chain at the wire between modules to suit your sign; the remaining modules keep working normally.
4. Clean the surface. Wipe the inside of the letter or lightbox clean and dry before sticking anything down — dust and oil are what cause modules to drop off later.
5. Peel and stick. Most modules come with the double-sided adhesive already applied — peel off the backing paper and press each module firmly into place. Space them evenly in rows; even spacing is what gives you a smooth, spot-free face.
6. Add screws if needed. For rough or dusty surfaces, or anywhere the modules take vibration or heat, run a screw through the fixing holes to secure them properly.
7. Wire and power up. Connect the chains in parallel back to the transformer, minding polarity (+/-), then switch on and check for even illumination.
8. Seal outdoor connections. Although the modules are IP65, the wire joints and transformer are not — waterproof every connection and house the transformer in a protected enclosure.
Tip: light the sign before pressing everything down permanently — adjusting module spacing is far easier before the adhesive has fully gripped.
